Donna is a community leader with expertise in food, climate and land justice, and youth advocacy for communities of color. She specializes in trauma-informed care, youth mentorship and crisis intervention. Ms. Latham-Edwards is a longtime advocate for people in East Buffalo and is an active board member of Matt Urban and Groundwork Buffalo. She also sits as an Advisory Board member of the Buffalo Food Equity Network, Open Buffalo Emerging Leaders Program, CAO Head Start Health Services, and Central Terminal. She is also an active member of the Benevolent Beautiez, a National Social Club whose primary functions are to provide community outreach services to the homeless, youth, and families in need. She advocates for access to food in Black Buffalo with little fanfare. Her love for the community led her to become a Health equity ambassador and to launch the Impacted Families Project, which works to break the cycle of poverty through empowerment, education, health, wellness, and healing. She joined the CEJ team in 2025.

Anthony Gault intro picture .png

Anthony helps underserved Eastside residents gain entry in building trade unions so they are better able to participate in an emerging green jobs marketplace. To foster growth in healthcare and the transportation industries, Anthony is also working to build awareness of the work that CEJ does in the communities that it serves. We support workers rights, including the right to organize. He also works on statewide and national coalitions that promote transit equity, and workforce development.
